Dear Readers- I'm here to show you what I think is in and now in the fashion and style world. I truly live my life with that passion for fashion and hope to one day make it in that competitive, and unwelcoming, industry. I live my life finding whats going to be the next big thing and try to find every opportunity to educate and further my career. This next week I will be going to the NRF (National Retail Federation) Conference in NYC and this summer I will be staying 5 weeks in paris taking fashion classes and traveling the country side. Plaid is still in. You see it constantly on celebs like Lauren Conrad.I think though that plaid may be on the way out soon since it's been so over done so just make it simple like this woman did with the layers and subtle colors of blue. Her boots and rolled up pants are a great trend to use with your own pair of pants.
Here This girl has it down with the pattern. The black
tights with the sutle poop of color in the shoes is so chic looking too.One of my big predictions for this season was fur. I think you can definitely work it right now a bit longer until the weather starts to warm us up a bit again.
Booties! Love them still lets keep that one trend alive!
THE NEW YOU!! In 09, transform your closet
For all of you looking to dress for your body and look good:
-two words...DARK JEANS please ladies they make you look gorgeous
-when in doubt BELT IT!! Belt a sweater, high waisted skirt or jeans, jacket its all great. Also use one or TWO skinny belts now I have seen but I would do the same color so as not to look to busy.
-Dark Nylons always make your skirt or dress warm in the winter and look very chic
-A waistband between one and two inches wide. Narrower ones can divide (and draw attention to) a tummy bulge.
-Shift dresses are always chic, wear in colors or solids whatever the occasion
-Men love red on dark haired women and black on blonds I have learned from my own boyfriend. Try it out when you go out shopping for your next shirt...or even lingerie
-In the cold months, BOOTS with tucked in jeans are everywhere so get on the bandwagon and stay warm and cute ladies!

-White tights
-Skull prints on everything
-Crocs PLEASE! i know they are comfortable but seriously I have refused to buy them and my feet haven't complained yet
-Bright colored jeans. They are still in most stores but trust me soon they will be out of style according to Vogue
